#MyrtleMondays: In Myrtle Peril releases tomorrow!

Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I love ya, tomorrow, you’re only a day awaaaaaaay! Yes, that’s right, Dear Readers, we are less than twenty-four hours from the big release of Myrtle Hardcastle Mysteries Book 4, In Myrtle Peril!  There’s still plenty of time to get in on all the release week fun!

Comics heroine Little Orphan Annie grew out of the penny dreadful tradition Myrtle loves, and endorsed wholesome products for young people, like Ovaltine. (But what about Bovril? Hmmm…)

Myrtle’s fourth misadventure in Victorian criminology is already receiving rave reviews, including a star from Kirkus! And my tireless publicity team at Algonquin Young Readers is hard at work behind the scenes, arranging my massive virtual and live book tour! See all my upcoming events here!

But the perilous fun has already started. I just returned home from a whirlwind weekend as Guest of Honor at Archon in St. Louis!

The event was absolutely incredible, from my peek behind-the-scenes at the nuts and bolts that go into creating such an incredible con, to mingling with fellow cosplayers, to sharing panels with other authors, to serving as a Masquerade judge!

Huge thanks to everyone who helped make Archon 45—my very first Archon—such an amazing event.

Next up is the In Myrtle Peril virtual launch party with Blue Willow Books in Houston, hosted by Myrtle’s self-professed Biggest Fan, bookseller Jennifer Gwydir. (Them are fightin’ words, Jennifer! I know a couple of folks who’d arm wrestle you for that title.) Join us by clicking here to register!

Then join me (virtually) at Best of Books in Edmond, OK on Thursday, October 6, when we check in with bookseller Alysha Welliver about her Stansberry pie baking! Click here to register!

Don’t forget to check out any and all of my upcoming tour dates. Myrtle & Peony can’t wait for you to get your hands on In Myrtle Peril!
