#MyrtleMondays: Killer Nashville and Bouchercon!

Dear Friends,

This is a big week for Myrtle Hardcastle Mysteries Book 4, In Myrtle Peril! It’s award season, and although I’m here in KC, surviving a heat wave and working on some exciting new things, Myrtle has been very busy…

Last weekend, mystery convention Killer Nasvhille presented the 16th annual Silver Falchion Awards, and named In Myrtle Peril as Best Juvenile/YA! Huzzah and cheers and HUGE THANKS to the judging panel! I probably don’t need to tell you how cool it is to get an award named after a spectacular medieval sword.

And this coming weekend is Bouchercon and the Anthony Awards. In Myrtle Peril is nominated for Best Children’s/YA Mystery—this is Myrtle’s third Anthony nomination! Although I won’t be there, Myrtle definitely will…

You can find copies of the Myrtle Hardcastle Mysteries available in the Book Bazaar, and of course, don’t forget to vote for your favorite Victorian sleuth!

Myrtle’s award winning fourth misadventure in Victorian criminology is coming out in paperback October 4—just in time for ghost season! Pick up your copy of this spooky mystery about a missing heiress, medical mayhem, and murder.
