Myrtle’s German publisher, Knesebeck, has created an absolutely magnificent design for the covers. The simplicity is deceptive (perfectly so!), hiding all sorts of beautiful details—one might even say clues—in plain sight. A brilliant treat for the Observant Reader!

And Eine Schifffahrt, Die est Todlich (or “A Deadly Voyage”) is no different. Check out all the seafaring imagery worked into the design:

From the beautiful sea blue, to the ocean wave borders, to the Persephone’s chronometer… alles ist perfekt!
