#MyrtleMondays: A Silver Falchion honor for Cold-Blooded Myrtle!

The honors for Cold-Blooded Myrtle continue! I am thrilled to share the news that Myrtle Hardcastle Mysteries Book 3 is a Silver Falchion Award finalist!

How cool is that logo? Music City slays.

Since 2006, the mystery publishing convention Killer Nashville has honored the best books incorporating elements of mystery, suspense, and thrillers, in multiple categories. Congratulations to my fellow finalists!

What is a falchion, you ask? It is a wicked cool medieval sword combining the maneuverability of a sword with the hacking power of an axe. It is murder weapon that makes a statement, and would be quite the curiosity at a crime scene.

Well, now, I mean. I suppose if you’re writing mysteries set during the Crusades, it would seem less out of place to Investigators.

This year’s Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Awards will be celebrated Saturday, August 20 at the conference. Click the link above to learn more and register.

Thank you so much, Killer Nashville!
